If you are looking for nature shots you will not find a better place than Timber Hills Lake. The oak/hickory decidous forests of the Ozark Highlands blend with remants of short and long grass prairies and are filled with wild flowers, animals and plants. Civil War era rock walls roll for miles and old Wild West homestead sites still stand throughout the grounds. A stone bridge from the wagon train days is still intact.

The wildlife is abundant. Buffalo, Giant Elk and world class Whitetail Deer in velvet antlers most of the summer roam the property.

You may see coyotes and bobcats with their pups and cubs, birds of the wild and much, much more. The lake and ponds are full of wildlife shots. Spend days in the wild and the photos will be family treasures you will remember for the rest of your life.
